With its head office based in Adelaide, Adtrans Group Ltd is a significant influence in total car and truck sales in South Australia, and truck sales in New South Wales and Victoria.

Formed in 1971, Stillwell Ford was the Group’s first Ford dealership in Adelaide and continues to be a well-recognised and respected car dealership today.

Mr Graeme Bignell, who established Stillwell Ford, was elected Chairman of Adtrans Group Ltd when it floated in the ASX in 1987. Mr Bignell still maintains a substantial shareholding and continues to be involved in the business as Chairman of the Adtrans Board.

Today the Group employs over 800 staff and has a annual turnover in excess of $650 million.

Franchises include Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge in cars, and Iveco/International, Fuso, Freightliner, Mercedes-Benz, UD and most recently Hino, in trucks, as well as BCI Buses.
